Thoughts of Spring / Springtime is Coming Challenge

Good Wednesday Morning! Below are all of the details for the brand new challenge that will begin in the new year. I'm so excited and looking forward to seeing all of the amazing entries.

The challenge will begin on January 1, 2024 and run till June 1, 2024. It is open to all members, skill levels and types of crafting. There will be a Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced categories for all of the different types of crafts. Create a doll, quilt, painting, or general sewing project that represents springtime of thoughts of spring to you. For example it could be a butterfly or flower doll, a  quilt with basket of flowers, a wholecloth design with a spring theme, paintings or a regular sewing project with a grouping of flowers. Easter theme related projects are welcome. The entry can be any size, and you can entire as many as you wish. Participants can send in a regular email or a pm on Facebook up to three photos of each creation in either jpg, jpeg, or png format, along with a brief description , skill level and category of the entry. My email address is katiebock242@gmail.com.  I will upload all of the entries in the various categories and skill levels to the blog. Beginning on June 5th - 19, members of the group will be able to vote on their favorites. On June 22nd, I will announce the winners. There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in all categories. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Beginning on January 15, 2024, I will be offering this Block of the Month - Stars Sampler Quilt. It's free to all members of the forum.
